The Dangers of Visceral Fat

After spending 15 years eliminating visceral fat and 13 years tracking it with MRIs, Dr. Sean O'Mara put together a tier list of the most effective strategies for getting rid of this hidden health threat. First up, remember that quality is more important than quantity. It's crucial to understand and track your visceral fat, and he recommends using an MRI for the best visualization. Restoring your microbiome to its optimal state is another top-tier strategy.

Dr. O'Mara can't stress enough how vital a healthy microbiome is for reducing visceral fat. Also, focus on eating a sterile diet—nothing processed, just clean, pure foods. Fasting is another powerful tool. While intermittent fasting is popular, extended fasting up to 72 hours once a week can yield significant results. It's important to ease into it to avoid overwhelming yourself. Finally, while ruminant meats like beef can be beneficial, keep in mind that they rank lower on my list compared to the other strategies. These approaches can truly transform your health if you're willing to commit.

Can You Raise Testosterone Naturally?

Testosterone is what keeps men alive. But in the last 50 years, levels have dropped by 30-50%… It's not just age that reduces testosterone in men, but also what they eat and drink. Normal testosterone levels for men over 61 are 150-600 ng/dL. Dr. Ken Berry says that T levels should be around 700-800-900 to be optimum. How does a man raise his testosterone? It can be done without drugs because the drug (TRT) that helps raise testosterone stops the body's ability to produce testosterone on its own. However, if your testosterone has not returned after two years, should you consider TRT?

How Important is Your Thyroid?

I am going to start a blog post on my thyroid issue and my desire to get off of my medication and get my thyroid back to functioning normally. I have been trying to change my diet to get rid of the foods that hinder its production, and I just now found a person on Twitter who did heal her hypothyroidism. She ate a carnivore diet, but then I read on other websites that the thyroid needs some carbs to function properly. Epoch Times just published an article on Hashimoto's ThyroiditisThis condition involves the immune system attacking the thyroid gland which now affects at least 14 million Americans and up to 7.5 percent of people globally. I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's. Let's dive in. (Be sure to click on all the blue highlighted links for more info.)

The Truth about Cholesterol & Statins

The easiest way I found to share the information I have found on cholesterol and statins was to make this Blog post and share it. I found a lot of the information from reading the book Cholesterol Clarity by Jimmy Moore, and this post is from that book. I would highly recommend you purchase this book and read it for yourself. I have put in links to some of the tests and information, so be sure to click on the highlights. There are also many articles from other sources on the hazards of taking statins, so be sure to read the whole blog. (Be sure to click on all the blue highlighted links for more info.)
